Bella bean was our first baby. She was found on the streets of Missouri when she was only 1 year old and we rescued her. She was the most loving, cuddly, loyal dog. She lived in Chicago, Arizona, Florida and Wisconsin in her lifetime. She loved chasing squirrels and would sit on watch in the yard for hours. She was there for our entire wedding weekend and sat between us as we became husband and wife on a beach in Florida.

We had just found out we are having our first child and we were so excited to bring our baby home to Bella. Unfortunately, hemangiosarcoma had other plans, and our lively, energetic 13 year old who we thought had many more years in her took a fast turn and crossed the rainbow bridge before our son got here. We weren’t actively trying for a baby quite yet and I truly believe this baby was sent to us because we were going to lose our first baby, Bella. We will never forget her, she was the greatest dog in the world. To know her was to love her!
